Junk Food:

Mmmm junk food... No i shouldn't... yes I should! Eating healthy is a problem most americans are faced with every day and giving in to this craving of eating junk food is not good at all!!! What should one do to eat healthy? It is very obvious, but most people ignore it until somone else tells them. First make sure you don't eat a lot of junk food. Limit your junk food intake to once or twice a week why? Have you ever actually looked at what ingreedients or nutritional value junk food has? Well take a good loook at Utz patato chips ingredents: Contains lard... lard for patato chips thats disgusting! When eating utz patato chips your eating lard as well...eww.... Not only is it bad to eat patato chips each meal, eating lard as well is just horible. even eating 1 bag of chips a day is to much if you want to stay healthy.

 

Healthy food:

Who says healthy food tastes bad? There are many delicous healthy foods out their, fruit for one and meats (if you like them). Although meats and fruits taste good you have to eat in all food groups(excluding fats I don't consider it a food group). For example eating vegetables is very important becuase it helps you digest your food cuasing less scaring of your kidneys. Also vegtable are big on vitamans and minerals. For your dayil amount of vegtables I would recomend you to pick one you like, mabye carrots with that yummy white vetable dressing or a salad, but don't go over board with dressing. Milk is also very important you should at least take 12 onces a day or if your lacktoss intolerant you should take at least 12 ounces of soymilk. Dairy and its main prouduct milk is very important becuase it helps you grow, and adults also need it becuase it helps their bones stay strong. Finaly The graing group is very important too. You should aim to eat whole grain or multi-grain bread to be healthy. White bread is almost like eating junkfood. Even with haelthy food one should not eat to much becuase to much of anything is not a good thing for more info go to mypyramid.gov
